Terms & Conditions

These terms apply when you use foodcost.in and the FoodCost app (“the service”), run by FoodCost.in from Hyderabad, India (“we”, “us”). By using the service you agree to them.

The service

  • The calculators are free to use, with or without an account.
  • An account lets you save recipes, prices and reports. Keep your login to yourself; you are responsible for what is done with it.
  • foodcost.in Pro is a paid subscription with extra features, described on the pricing page.

Results are estimates

The calculators and AI features work from the numbers you enter or the photos you upload. AI can misread a bill or menu, so check every result before you rely on it. Prices, food costs and quotations are your business decisions; we are not responsible for losses from using them.

Pro subscription and payments

  • Pro is billed monthly or yearly in Indian Rupees through Razorpay, using UPI Autopay, a card or another mandate you approve.
  • It renews automatically at the end of each period until you cancel. Your bank or card issuer notifies you before each charge.
  • Founding member prices apply to the first 100 subscribers and stay the same for as long as that subscription continues. If it ends and you subscribe again, the price at that time applies.
  • We may change regular prices for future periods with at least 30 days' notice by email or on the site. A change never applies to a period you have already paid for.
  • Cancelling and refunds are covered by the Refund & Cancellation Policy.
  • Monthly AI limits apply to keep the service fair for everyone; the current limits are shown in the app.

Fair use

Don't try to break, overload or copy the service, use it to break the law, or upload anything you don't have the right to. We may suspend accounts that do.

Your data

Your recipes and prices are yours. How we handle them is explained in the Privacy Policy. If Pro ends, your saved data stays available on the free plan.

Changes and availability

We keep improving the service and may change or remove features. We aim to keep it available at all times but can't promise it will never be interrupted.

Law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and courts in Hyderabad, Telangana have jurisdiction.
