How the combo meal calculator works
Good to know
The hidden cost of combo discounts
- Every rupee the customer saves comes straight out of your profit on those items. A combo only pays when it brings extra orders, a bigger bill or moves slow items.
- Good combos: pair a popular main with a high-margin side or drink.
- Risky combos: discount items people would have bought anyway at full price.
Always up to date
Combos use your saved recipes, so when an ingredient price changes, every combo that uses it is re-costed automatically.

How do I calculate the food cost of a combo meal?
Add up the food cost of every item in the combo (and packaging if you count it), then divide by the combo selling price. Example: burger ₹60 + fries ₹18 + drink ₹22 = ₹100 cost; at a ₹229 combo price the food cost is 43.7%.
What is a good discount for a combo meal?
Most restaurants give 10–20% off the separate prices. Check that the combo's food cost % stays within your target — the calculator shows the profit you give up per combo compared with selling the items separately.
Can I use items I don't make, like soft drinks?
Yes. Add them as bought-in items with their purchase cost and menu price.
