Success in the food business depends on cost control, margins and sustainable profit. Most restaurants that fail don't fail because of the food — they fail because costs weren't tracked closely enough.

Mission

We started out calculating food cost in Excel spreadsheets for our own restaurants. FoodCost.in turns those same calculations into simple online tools, so new restaurant owners don't have to build them from scratch.

The platform is aimed at beginners and runs as a non-profit initiative — a way to share practical knowledge with first-time food entrepreneurs.
